I got a job (jeey) on top of my other job, we're rehearsing a lot more than we did before (which is fun) and i'm trying to be creative and social at the same time.

This is my new cowboy dress! I'm crazy about it. Didn't even try it on at the store, knew i just had to have it. Luckily it fits.

This is going to be one of my favourit summer dresses this year. It works with flats, heels and even boots.

I absolutely LOVE this dress. Found it hanging outside a store together with a lot of wierd stuff. And it was on sale! hey!

All classy. Got this at a reaaaally cool and cheap vintage store called "Cheap Cheap". It was really cheap. And it's pretty! Did i mention that it was really cheap? What a bargain.

This jump suit makes me want to dance again. I'm going to wear it with REALLY high heels. Jeey!

Ok, my boyfriend actually bought this vest...buuut he said i could borrow it as much as i want. So i just did. I LOVE it.

I'm home! What a trip! I really din't want to leave, and i definitely want to go back. Luckily, i brought home with me loads of awsome stuff from Austin so that i'll always have something to remind me of it. Like my new banjo, awsome vintage clothing, cool new cowboy boots and loads of mosquito bites(those won't last forever though).

I'll show you all of the goods as soon as i have the time! Just started a new job today so there's going to be enough to do the following weeks.

I am finally going to Austin, Texas!! It's been a dream of mine for such a long time, and now it's finally coming true! Beth Levine- The queen of shoes! She has inspired so many people, both other shoe makers and Joe on the streets. Always trying to push boundaries and you can really see in her work how much fashion and art have in common. She known most known for her work from the 1940s through the 1970s.

Inspiration, that's what we're all looking for, right? You can get it through music, books, paintings and now and then people can inspire us. When you’re inspired, you can use it to what ever you want. I use it in my work of course, but i also use it when it comes to how i’m living my life. Designers and fashion photographs have always inspired me when it comes to style and clothes, but when i discovered the people behind all of the beautiful clothes and faces it inspired me in terms of being proud of that weird dress i wore to school. Cause i though it was awsome!

When the new wave of style hit Norway it hit a country that was a little scared, a little to shy to let out what they had on the inside and show it on the outside. We saw models every day dressed up in fabulous clothes, awsome make up and colors to die for, but it took some time for us to dear to dress ourselfs up. I have always been incredibly interested in fashion, clothes and design, but i always felt a bit weird walking down the street in my shiny shorts, pink lipstick and heels that were to high for Oslo streets. But NOW, everywhere a cross the country we are popping up, claiming our right to walk these streets. We feel like we belong! People like Marianne Theodorsen,

Fam Irvoll, Tina Haagensen and other incredible folks are giving us a face, and courage. I've always worn what i wanted to wear, but know i can smile on the inside if people don't "get it", and that feels so good!

I remember when i was 13, i got a military skirt from my grandma. She had worn it when she was young. This was when the military fashion had just returned in it's high fashion form. I remember reading about it in Vogue, being so proud that i now had my very own military skirt. I couldn’t wait to wear it! Butt when i came to school wearing the skirt people hated it. On my way home I wasn't sad, i was just curious: Why didn't they get it?! What did they know? And why did they even care about about what i wore?

Marianne Theodorsen: Fresh, fashionable, inspirational and drop dead gorgeous! She's the fashion it-girl that dares to be! I really wanted to tell you about her and her blog, so i decided to do a post on her. Many of you probably already know who she is, but there is no harm in looking at a wonderful thing twice;) And i know you're gonna like what you're about to see!

In this picture..(When i first saw it i just smiled, and smiled, and...well, smiled. It is SO good!) you'll see one of those perfect combos that Marianne is known for. It's perfect! The black, with the ring and the sunglasses, the lipstick. Enjoy and be amazed.

I love rock music, but i am not a rock musician. It is the same with me a jewelry, i don't wear it that much my self, but i absolutely LOVE it! And Marianne is somewhat known for her "jewld'up" arms. She pulls it of so perfectly! ....note to self: wear more jewelry.

I love her short hair and i think she wears it so good. She has this tough and rough thing going in her outfits a lot, but at the same time, she always manage to keep some sort of fragile femininity to it, that is not at all weak, just amazing and wonderful!

Norway needs souls like Marianne's, who dare to be what they are! She has an amazing knowledge and interest when it comes to fashion and is truly inspiring.

Sooo. Five years ago i wasn't really comfortable wearing skirts, don't know why, but the last four years i've totally fallen in love. Probably because i "found" myself a bit more growing up. Here are three of my favourits so far from the Pre Fall 2011 collections.

This one is from Francesco Scognamiglio Pre Fall 2011 collection. I'm not crazy 'bout the boots, but i am loving the blouse and skirt together!

And finally... Ah... What can i say? I just adore it! It's from Luca Luca's Pre Fall 2011 collection. It really reminds me of a skirt i have that my grandma used to wear when she was young. It has the same sort of belt and if you couple it with a blouse, it's just like a little piece of heaven!

We were so ready for this to be a really, really relaxing trip, so when we got hungry the second evening, we desided to order in=) And the hotel did NOT let us down! Lovely Tapas and my mum had bought pretty sweet sweets for us earlier that day=)

I love that my and my mum go to Copenhagen every year before Christmas, cause that's the best time to go shopping at ILLUM!

I really wanted to take the moos head and the light tubes back to my apartment, but i figured they'd be pretty difficult to pack.

Hotel Room!

We stayed at this hotel last year as well. It is freak'n amazing!! Everything's ecological, there is an amazing spa there and the food is out of this world!
When i first got there i had to have a sneak peak at what i had bought tax free at the airport. My favourit perfume in the world is MINE again!! Seriously, if you haven't smelled it, you need to. It is amazing! And i bought these cute YSL nail polishes, in pink and orange=)

We arrived Copenhagen quite early so our room wasn't ready when we got there. We therefor went to this little cafe we always eat at when we're in Copenhagen. I had a lovely salad and the hearts in the tree outside made me reaally happy! And my favourit sailor bag was there as well, of course!

So, here is me in a little tired version. I'm on my way to the store to buy breakfast. Wearing shoes by Sweedish Hasbeens, vintage sweater, DKNY dress, tights borrowed from a friend and a look that says: I'm not sure i've gottn' enough sleep...

Marvelous breakfast!!

Soo, i decided to be a really good girlfriend today and make my boyfriend a really good breakfast!
If we have been out on a night on the town one of us is usually quite hung over the next day, but the good news is that we are very seldom hung over the same mornings. So if i am he makes me breakfast, and if he is i make him breakfast! That's definitely something i can live with.

Right now he's in the shower, but he promised me coffee when he's done...
I feel lucky <3

I'm sorta irritated right now, cause a lot of the pictures i took last night somehow got deleted or just didn't get loaded on to my computer and then got deleted.. i don't know, but that means that the outfit pictures i took yesterday are gone=(, and the photos from the beginning of the night. I only have photos from the last place we went last night.
-And that was the launch of NATT&DAG. What a great night!! Kristin, a close friend i haven't seen in suuuch a long time, came down and we ended up being a really nice group of people. Ahh...
Before this we were at a party thrown by my boyfriends record label. Also really nice, free drinks and mini burgers! HOHO

Purple to match the rain

I've been in all day writing and looking for jobs. But i had to go out for an hour or so to do some freelance work. Since i had just been in with my cozy pants on i really wanted to still feel cozy out in the rain, so i threw on this amazingly soft Acne sweater, tights from Gina Tricot and my favourit rain boots from Melissa/Vivienne Westwood. Just a soft, cuddly outfit (pjay;) for an hour at work.

Tomorrow i think i'm gonna try out a new hair style! Can't wait!

I had to deliver my shoes in to repair so they could put some extra strong stuff on the heel and tip so that it would last longer on these norwegian streets. I delivered them just a couple of days after i bought them so I've missed them sooooo much!! Didn't really get to know them before i had to hand them over to complete strangers... But today they were finally done and i could go get my babies!
